Blake and Kendra's first day of school

Well we are back to school :(

Back to waking up at the butt crack of dawn and making my kids eat breakfast even though they are still half asleep, back to making lunches and having them brought home only half ate, back to trying to think of different after school snacks and doing loads of homework...too much for a 2nd grader and a 4th grader...but then again what do I know I am just a mom :) Back to feeling like I only get to see my kiddos on the weekend. But everyone else is doing it...so why not us too.

Blake picked his Denver Broncos jersey to wear on the first day..GO BRONCOS!

He had a good day and was sweet enough to show the new kid in his class around

Part of it was hard for him because he sits by a girl that must be mentally challenged because she kept kicking him and trying to lick him and doing other things that make me want to puke but I won't tell you because I would feel bad if I made you puke too....I think it made the day very long sitting by her...poor Blake.

But he had friends in his class and he had a good day!!

She said she loved her first day and loved her new teacher

She usually doesn't eat school lunch and I got her to eat school lunch because they were having corn on the cob....but as soon as I saw her and asked her how her day was she said "Mom the corn on the cob was suckish!!" I think she felt like she was deceived by me...oops!!

I missed my little monkeys but I am glad they liked school.
