On Friday evening it was raining and my kids were all very excited to go outside and play in the rain. But the evening was changed from excitement for the rain to 6 stitches later. Blake and Aubrey ran inside the house saying "Kendra is bleeding!!!" Luckly Joe was here, because seeing blood on my children make me turn into a unrational mom who can't think straight, to say the least I don't do well with it at all. We run outside to find that Kendra had crashed on her bike and had ripped open her chin. Joe being the sane parent took Kendra to the ER. Where she got two shots in her chin to numb it and then she was given 6 stitches. When she got home I was shocked to see a happy girl come in with smiles waving 5 animal stickers around. She was so excited about her animal stickers that the doctor gave her she didn't care about the trama with her chin or her bruised leg.
I hope things go well in 7 days when we go to get the stitches removed.

Oh, OUCH! Poor thing! I'm not a fan of seeing bleeding children, either :)
I am terrified that one day I will have to take Ashlynn to the ER without Jay and I will be a mess!! Good call on sending Joe =0!! I'm glad she's okay. Stickers can do wonders =)
I tend to get a little frantic myself, and tend to be slightly over-protective! She is quite the tough one.
Oh- and just wondering, how is your new pet, the invisible dog, working out? That is so funny!
ouch, poor Kendra. Hopefully she's feeling better. It seems like stickers really do cure everything don't they?
OUCH!! What a tough girl!! Stickers always make my kids feel better when they leave the doctor!!!
Glad she is o.k. and happy with her stickers. I got about that many stitches in my chin when I was a kid. It's such a common place for stitches and a pretty cool scar to have!=)
