On Saturday Kasha and Jonah and the girls came to see us for the weekend. We decided to go to the county fair on Saturday. We first went and looked at all the animals and then we told the kids they could ride rides. So because of the lines Kasha and Jonah took the 2 younger girls (Paisley and Aubrey) to the merry-go-round, and I took the 3 older kids (Blake, Skylee and Kendra) to the kid's mini roller coaster. After the mini roller coaster I saw a ride next to us and said "do you guys want to go on that ride" But just Blake and Skylee wanted to go, and they got right on the ride because there was no line. The ride started to go and it started going faster and faster. Fast enough that I was starting to get concerned, and then to make it worse it started lifting in the air going up and down and going very fast. I looked down at Kendra by my side and said "Kendra I put Blake and Skylee on the wrong ride" The fair worker looked at me like what do you mean you put those children on the wrong ride. I couldn't believe I had just put them on that ride!! I was trying to look at their faces but they were smashed together because of how fast the ride was going. The ride seemed to last forever, but when it done, they got off looking pale and I said to them " I am so sorry guys, I didn't realize what kind of ride this was" They said it was okay, but they were done riding rides. I felt bad :( But afterwards we went and got cotton candy and carmel apples so they forgot the fast adult ride I stuck them on. Like Kasha said "Didn't a ride named Hurricane make you think it wasn't a kid ride" It should have made me realize that, but it didn't.

Don't feel bad Lace! I'm sure they won't be traumatized forever :) J/K We had the same kind of experience at the Blackfoot fair this weekend. Our kids our pretty big wimps though. They were crying and screaming "I want Mommyyyyyy" on the little kid rides!!

That is so hilarious Lacey! I think Karl let Kaden go on one like that. I about had a heartattack but Kaden loved it.
K so I know that I shouldn't be laughing but I am. I am laughing hard!!! TOO FUNNY!! Madi is so opposite, she absolutely loves those kind of rides. And none of the other kids want to ride them with her so Bryan gets on there and the love it!
