Today was the first day of school. My kids were both very excited to wear there new clothes, and even more excited for their backpacks. This morning Blake's alarm went off at 7:00 and both my kids were ready to head out the door at 7:13!! They couldn't understand why we couldn't just go to school since they were ready.
Kendra chose to wear one of her new horse shirts, and was very excited for her pet shop turtle backpack. Kendra loved her first day, and had friends she already knew in her class. And even though a little girl bit her at recess (she did not know the little girl) she still loved her first day. I don't know what it is about biting kids lately, but their must be a few families of vampires out there, cuz that is the 2nd time one of my kids have been bit this month!!! My kids must look yummy. But I am very glad it did not ruin her day. She wanted to do her homework as soon as she got home. Kindergarten was a sucess!!
Today Blake wanted to wear his black shirt and his camo pants, and was loving his black backpack. Blake's budding was in his class so he was excited to get to see him everyday again. Blake said the best part of his day was having the girls chase him and Henry. Ohhh....Blake why does my 7 year old need to like the girls this young. Blake had lots of fun his first day and said his teacher is the nicest 2nd grade teacher ever. Good news for mom!!!

I'm so glad Blake and Kendra had a great first day of school! It makes it alot easier on us moms when they want to go to school!
They are so cute!!! I'm glad they had good first days! Hopefully it carries over throughout the entire year!!!
